High School

Our high school (Premier Team and Select 17U) school season structure, includes Fall Skills, Winter Skills, and the Summer Season as one season for all players. This approach allows us to place a stronger emphasis on individual skills development and team culture. With a meticulously constructed 23-week Fall and Winter Skills curriculum, we will build on each player's skills weekly, preparing them to thrive in their high school seasons as impact players along with being leaders on and off the field.

Additional Information

The Premier Team program is designed to equip dedicated players with the skills necessary for collegiate-level lacrosse. With a commitment to excellence and passion for the game, this program provides increased training opportunities. This increase in frequency, compared to the standard twice-a-week practice, allows players to deepen their understanding of their teammates' playing styles and refine their skills against like-minded Lakers.

The season will include a selection of highly competitive tournaments and showcases across the East Coast, the Midwest, and the Western United States. These events, chosen to challenge and push players to their highest potential, also provide an invaluable opportunity to catch the attention of college coaches.

Our Select Teams are designed for players who want to take their lacrosse and leadership to the next level by getting out of their comfort zone. Whether your goal is to play in college, be a significant contributor on your high school team, or be a leader off the field, this program is for that athlete. For those looking to play lacrosse in college, we help you navigate the recruiting process throughout the whole journey.

As leadership is one of the founding pillars of Minnesota Lakers Select, throughout the season, we work on leadership skills that transfer to daily life after their competitive lacrosse careers have ended. Tournaments for our high school program are local, regional, as well as optional national tournaments in divisions that will challenge and push our players to be at their best.
